Our uncapping machine is equipped with heated knives with electric or hot water resistances, of which it is possible to adjust the cutting depth and speed.
If they are sealed under wood, the open-air knives, heated too, will open the cells.
It is equipped with a timing system of the frames to prevent them from entering crooked.
innovative chainless frame transport system for easy cleaning. Resting on a structure (of different lengths), it can have underneath either an operculum collection tank, or a cochlea opeculum squeezer or a wax melter of our production.
Thanks to the transport system for uncapped frames, it is possible to facilitate the transition from the tank to the horizontal honey extractor. It can be equipped with an automatic supers transport belt.
The belt is equipped with a self-locking system to stop the supers and has an automatic frame lifter and honeycomb detaching system, with pedal control or with a photocell to be installed on our uncapping machine, thanks to a pneumatic cylinder you have the possibility to raise the super later only the frames.
Our stainless‑steel uncapper is the core of a complete DB honey super uncapping line, designed to ensure maximum efficiency, precision and continuity in opening the cappings of DB frames.

Technical features of the uncapper
The uncapper is built entirely from stainless steel and designed to ensure precise, uniform opening of the cappings.
The heated knives — available with electric heating elements or hot‑water heating — allow precise adjustment of cutting depth and feed speed.
When dealing with low cappings or cappings below the wood line, the heated comb‑opening knives ensure complete opening of the cells.
The machine is equipped with a frame‑spacing system to prevent misaligned entry and a chain‑free transport system that is innovative and easy to clean.
The uncapper can be installed on structures of different lengths and combined with a cappings collection tank, screw‑type cappings press or wax melter produced by CBE.
The transport system for uncapped frames facilitates direct transfer to the horizontal extractor.
It can also be equipped with an automatic honey‑super conveyor belt.
The conveyor belt features an auto‑locking system to stop the supers and includes a mechanism capable of lifting the frames and automatically detaching the combs, operated by foot pedal or photocell installed on the uncapper.
A pneumatic cylinder allows the operator to lift the super and then the frames independently.
